Acquisition of Tomovation GmbH

Alliance Medical announces the acquisition of Tomovation in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. Tomovation provides innovative services and products for the tomography industry (CT, MRI, PET) and invests in early stage European medical technologies.

By combining the knowledge of the market and scale of operations, clients of both groups will profit in terms of an even better availability and higher service level.

Alliance Medical and Tomovation operate from neighbouring facilities in Castrop-Rauxel and will now share their equipment, fleet, knowledge, personell and real estate.

The acquisition is part of long term strategic plan for Alliance Medical to consolidate and extend its existing presence in the important German market. With its strategic plan in place, a talented team and thorough knowledge of the market, the combined group will seek further opportunities to improve the services to its customers: hospitals, private practices and Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Dr. Michael Friebe, CEO of Tomovation GmbH, will be appointed as Managing Director of Alliance Medical GmbH. Dr. Michael Friebe has extensive experience in the Healthcare Sector and has successfully managed several medical solution providers.
